We did not celebrate it at all when Ingun had knitted sweater number 1000 for us. Simply because we never made the calculation. But as we wanted to make this profile of her, we started counting and both herself and we were very surprised to find out that she already had passed sweater number 1000 some years ago. So let us use this opportunity to thank Ingun for her enormous effort.

Once we had this big dream of an order – and Ingun knitted 90 sweaters in 100 days. Here it’s important to underline that apart from her task as a knitter for Guðrun & Guðrun, Ingun has a leading full-time job as a nurse. And that she spends 2 hours a day driving to and back from work. Once she did try knitting while driving – but fortunately she quickly found out that it was not such a brilliant idea.

For our designer and in-house knitting expert Ingun is a dream of a worker. She does understand exactly what you want her to do only by giving her the smallest hint or drawing. She is the most positive, interesting and fun person to have coming to our work-shop – and she is all in whenever we need her. And that is often. And often unreasonably late and with an unreasonable dead-line.
